Cabco is the leading operator of electronic shopping Karts, with Karts in leading supermarket chains. The US market has been the company's primary focus since June 2004.

Cabco has fully integrated electronic shopping Kart solutions for the retail market, encompassing regular shoppers and those shoppers who are parents with young children.

History

Cabco Group Limited is the international arm of Cabco, which saw the potential in an original shopping Kart concept, developed in New Zealand in 1999.

Cabco USA was established in 2002 with the very clear objective of establishing their Kart programs in every major retail chain throughout the world.

Kerry Gleeson: Chairman

Kerry has been a professional company director since 2000 and has been with the Cabco board since March 2002. Prior to this time, Kerry spent 27 years with the Gillette Company in New Zealand, Australia and the USA, cumulating in his role as managing director of Gillette New Zealand. Kerry is presently a director of six companies, both privately owned and listed. He is also Chairman of E.A.N. Australia Limited and Chairman of the Marketing Committee for Grocery Manufacturers of Australia.

Brad Johnson: Chief Executive Officer

Before taking on the role of CEO, Brad served as COO and EVP Media for Cabco. Brad has a strong track record of success both as an entrepreneur and corporate executive, and has demonstrated excellence in a variety of disciplines, including strategic/corporate development, brand building, organizational design, and business transformation. Prior to joining Cabco, Brad co-founded a leading retail marketing organization in The Netherlands, where he led the global marketing effort. Spending nine years overseas, he orchestrated the European launch of leading lifestyle and cosmetics brands. As CEO of a cutting-edge technology provider, Brad pioneered an adaptive learning platform that was used by Fortune 1000 companies to train employees and support new product launches. Brad also served as managing director at the largest school bus company in North America, where he re-invented and spun-off the company's safety division.

David Bonthrone: EVP, Shopper Solutions

David's path to becoming a media executive started shortly after completing an Honors Degree at Greenwich University in London. While his career started in investment banking, he became disillusioned due to the industry's lack of creativity. He made a career move to join Ogilvy & Mather Direct in Australia, where he worked on the Toyota account. He subsequently founded a successful agency which was rebranded Saatchi & Saatchi Direct/Interactive, focusing largely on the automotive, financial services, packaged goods and retail categories. After moving to New York, David joined McCann Erickson and worked on Mastercard's enormously successful 'Priceless' campaign; at Grey/G2 Worldwide he held global responsibility for the Dunhill brand; at Saatchi & Saatchi X he oversaw the P&G shopper business globally; and, most recently, he led the Shopper/Retail practice at Momentum, part of McCann Erickson. David has also served as head of Global Marketing for a software services company.

Patrick Burke: Vice-President, Retail Programs

Patrick works with Cabco's national accounts to ensure delivery of quality programs that meet the objectives of retailers and enhance customers' shopping experience. He has a broad range of sales and service experience including several years as global service manager for Cisco Systems where he worked with RBOC customers on the development and delivery of world class service programs. Additionally, he has held sales management positions with Digital Equipment Corporation and Radiant Systems, where he was responsible for sales of retail point-of-sale solutions to customers across the Midwest.

Wynn Roberts: Director of Operations

Prior to assuming the responsibilities of director of operations for Cabco, Wynn held the position of regional manager, handling the development of the field team first in Texas then for the US. Wynn has had a successful and varied executive level career in operations and retail, as well as being extremely entrepreneur minded with privately owned businesses. Wynn has a proven track record of developing systems and processes that bring a cohesive level of execution across all internal and external channels. Prior to joining Cabco in March 2006, Wynn worked with Sara Lee Corporation for 22 years, supervising 300 employees in 25 business units in multiple states, a 75,000 SF distribution center and over $26 million in sales. Wynn’s leadership developed an operations process and team that was responsible for the continued ability to improve sales, decrease turnover and expenses and lead the company in performance standards. This led to numerous awards and recognition for Wynn’s ability to recruit, train and manage a highly successful, corporate management team. In addition to Wynn’s corporate experience, he was the operation’s foundation of a privately owned supermarket development company, planning and developing retail formats throughout the US as well as several international projects.

Greg Fletcher: Sr. Financial Controller

Greg joined Cabco in 2007 and is responsible for Cabco’s financial planning, reporting, and compliance.  Prior to joining Cabco, Greg was the assistant operations controller at Richardson Electronics, a $579MM provider of engineered electronic solutions, and before that was  the controller of distribution for American Racing Equipment, a $170MM manufacturer and distributor of custom automotive wheels.  Greg is a CPA, and also has a MBA from Webster University.

Larry Remiker: Director of Production

Larry has worked in the CPG industry for well over 12 years holding various positions such as Product Photographer, Imaging Supervisor, Manager of Database Services and Director of Production. Before joining Cabco, he worked at Gladson Interactive (Lisle, IL) for 10 years helping to produce and oversee image and data capture of 3000+ product samples per week for retail merchandising and online/print advertising initiatives. Along with strong leadership, he also has solid fundamentals regarding product flow management; department structure/development, quality check testing and reporting and photography/graphics principles. In addition to his production and graphics background, he also worked in sales/marketing at Gladson, holding a Sr. Account Manager level position that included a portfolio of 75+ CPG companies totaling well over $1MIL in revenue annually. Among the 75+ CPG companies Larry has worked with include Kraft, P&G, Colgate, Unilever, Pepsi, Kimberly Clark, ConAgra, Dial, Sara Lee and Cadbury Schweppes.

Ken Cichon: Sr Media Developer

For the past 10 years, Ken had developed a strong working knowledge of digital media creation and storytelling. Early on he spent two years as a student-worker assisting in the development of online courses at the College of Lake County (IL). From there he continued his studies at Columbia College (Chicago) in the area of film/video production, where he studied screenwriting, producing, directing and all areas of graphic post production. After writing, directing, and producing his first short film he began working at Kloss Distributing (Gurnee, IL) as a sign/banner designer for the Miller Brewing Co. At Abbott Laboratories (Lake Forest, IL) in the International Nutrition Department, he was the key designer for their corporate branding initiatives which included consolidation and rebranding of product labels for Ensure, Similac, Gain, and PediaSure. Joining Cabco in 2007, Ken brings his extensive video production and corporate branding expertise necessary to produce effective digital campaigns.
